Public Works equipment rental rates set for 2022

March 10, 2022

POMEROY–The Garfield County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) approved Resolution 2022-08 for equipment rental rates, and surplus Garfield County Transportation Authority items at the meeting March 7.

The BOCC approved Resolution 2022-08 which set the rates, generated by County Engineer Grant Morgan, which are based on the life cycle of the specific piece of equipment, the replacement cost, and cost of operation, including fuel. The rates are retroactive to January of 2022 and will continue as set until replaced, which the commissioners anticipate doing in 2023.

The BOCC also approved a surplus request from Garfield County Transportation Authority General Manager Rachel Anderson for three 2008 AT&T phones and a broken Keurig coffee machine. The Keurig will be thrown away as soon as a replacement is found.
