Broomstick Pool event sports a crowd

Tanner Cranor, Spinners President, lines up a shot during the Spinners Broomstick tournament event this last weekend. The number are participants have grown since the conception of the Pomeroy tradition in the 1980s and is a major fundraiser for the Spinners organization.
The exciting results for the Broomstick tournament teams are: first place is Pat and Larry Ledgerwood; second place Al Damron and Steve Slaybaugh; third place Jim and Don Ledgerwood; fourth place Tom and Kevin Ledgerwood; fifth place JD 7 Coby Brown; and sixth place Denny and Brad Lockard.
After electing Pete Ledgerwood into the Hall of Fame, Bob Bingman was the newest current player to be elected into the Hall of Fame.
Proceeds for the tournament will fund numerous charity obligations, scholarships opportunities for local students and general organizational logistics.
