Medic 30 will become backup ambulance

POMEROY–The Garfield County Fire District No. 1 commissioners held a special meeting to discuss repairs to the Medic 30 ambulance on March 15.

The ambulance has had diagnostics run and is believed to have a cracked head. Any further diagnostics would require an engine tear down, which could cost upwards of $7,000. The commissioners decided to bring Medic 30 back to the GCFD garage and use it...
