Kris Klaveano leads the gathered members of the community on prayer for churches during the observance of the National Day of Prayer at the Oasis Park Friday, May 5.
POMEROY–Many local people gathered at Oasis Park to participate in the National Day of Prayer on May 5.
Prayers were given at the gathering in Oasis Park at mid-day and throughout the day by scheduled prayer warriors which covered the needs of education, family, business, government, military, and churches. Additional prayer was given to cover the Garfield County Memorial Hospital and its long-term care facility.
