Our senior project was at the Pioneer Plaza on Main Street, a small little cutout tucked between the pharmacy and gym. This project started out all right but was quite complicated. Throughout the paperwork sections, it became more of a hassle, such as when doing the interviews, it became difficult to find people who had more than just passing experiences. This project was an opportunity to clean up a section of Main Street for the duration of the school year and to encourage travelers to stop and interact with the town. In this project, we went to the Pioneer Plaza and raked the pine needles, swept the dirt off the walkways, and threw away all the trash we found.
