Martin celebrates retirement after 22 years at City Hall

A celebration party was given for retired City Clerk and Treasurer Shaun Martin last Wednesday, June 28. She was honored for her 22 years of committed service to the City by Mayor Paul Miller, left, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Lori Slaybaugh, Councilman Mike Cassetto, Shaun Martin, City Clerk/Treasurer Diane Taylor, Councilman Jim Harris, and City Crew Chief Mike Lockard.

POMEROY–Retired City Clerk and Treasurer Shaun Martin, has been at her post with the City for 22 years, and celebrated her retirement with council members, family, and friends on June 28.

The City Council presented her with a beautiful photograph of Pomeroy to commemorate her years of dedicated work. Martin's future plans are to enjoy her grandchildren, travel, finish projects at home, and to enjoy life. Martin acknowledged the community for their support during her 22 years as City Clerk. I want to recognize "the people of Pomeroy for their kindness and love over the 22 years," said Martin. "I'll miss them."
