Health District funding periods end and begin again

POMEROY–Garfield County Health District passed an amendment to its Consolidated Contract and discussed necessary funding actions at the meeting on July 18.

The Foundational Public Health Services July 2021 to June 2022 funding period has ended, and the GCHD has $108,000 that needs to be returned by August 15. Some $233,000 or more of FPHS funding for the next period will be received by September 15.

The Health District approved resolution 2022-14, an amendment to the Consolidated Contract that incorporates extra funding to bring the total funding awarded for the 2022 year up to 1,787,221.
