Lamb and Copher to run at Regionals Saturday

POMEROY–The Pirate Cross Country team of Samuel Lamb and Cash Copher will give 1B/2B Regionals this Saturday their best shot when the race begins at 12:45 p.m.
The two Pirate runners qualified for the Regional meet at last week's league championships in Pomoery. Lamb and Copher have been consistent this season and usually finish close to one another in the 24-minute range. Lamb's season best was 23:59 at the Inland Empire Championships on Oct. 1, and Copher ran a 23:43 race at the same event.
The top 35 runners from Regionals advance to the state event in Pasco November 5.
The event will be on the Chewelah Golf Course.
