The Pirates travel to Wellpinit Saturday for a 1 p.m. kick off against Wellpinit in game number two of the 1B State Football bracket. In last Friday's wind-swept 50-6 victory over SJEL, Pirate quarterback Trevin Kimble (43) scored four touchdowns and threw one touchdown pass to Trace Roberts to help the Pirates into the playoffs. Kimble rushed for 324 yards and passed for 34 yards.
POMEROY––It was a dark and stormy night at Lybecker Field, and the Pomeroy Pirates defeated the St. John/Endicott-LaCrosse Eagles 50-6, securing a berth in the 1B 8-Man Football State Tournament.
Pomeroy visits Wellpinit this Saturday, November 12, for a 1 p.m. kick off. With a win, the number 10 seeded Pirates would face number two seed Neah Bay. All games from this point are loser-out.
