Hospital to get new van with Shepherd Foundation grant

POMEROY–The Garfield County Hospital District Board of Commissioners has received a $40,000 Shepherd Foundation grant to be used to purchase a new van.
In other business, commissioners amended resolution 2022-05, and discussed the electrical project at the meeting on December 5.
The commissioners amended resolution 2022-05, approving the disposal of a lab analyzer by sale to 618 Medical, by changing the amount of the purchase from $1,600 to $1,500.
The electrical project has experienced some delays in designing, so the equipment procurement bids will be opened on December 14. Construction bidding is expected to take place next winter, with the construction starting in spring of 2024.
