Kendall Dixon fights through heavy traffic in action from Saturday's 42-33 loss. A frigid third quarter that Oakesdale took advantage of spelled the difference in Saturday's home game as Lady Pirates were heavily outscored then couldn't make up the difference. Dixon snagged nine rebounds and scored seven.

POMEROY––A third-quarter scoring burst by the Oakesdale Lady Nighthawks while the lid went on the bucked for the Lady Pirates was all Oakesdale needed to take a 42-33 win here Saturday. Friday in St. John, the Lady Buccaneers took firm command of the game from the outset and held off a fourth-quarter rally by the Lady Eagles for a 55-44 league win.
