School District directors honored for five years on board

PSD directors Kyle Pearson and Ashley Koller have both been recognized for serving five years on the school board of directors.

POMEROY–The Pomeroy School District (PSD) board of directors honored two of the members for five years of service, hired two coaches, and accepted the resignation of two coaches at their meeting on January 24.

PSD Superintendent Rachel Gwinn presented Directors Ashley Koller and Kyle Pearson with a certificate from the Washington State School Directors' Association, honoring their five years' service on Pomeroy's school board.

The board hired Fred Knebel as Jr. High wrestling coach, and Danner Maves as assistant baseball coach. Maves will split the position with long-time assistant coach Charlie Caldwell.

The PSD board accepted the resignation of Brock Ledgerwood as assistant Jr. High basketball coach, and Hally Lindgren as assistant softball coach. They will not be continuing for the next school year.
