POMEROY–The Baker's Table reopened February 1, under the ownership of Ben and Ashley Dixon. The Dixons own the building the bakery occupies, and purchased The Baker's Table from previous owners Greg and Katrina Sharp.

"We felt the community's need for a place to go, to meet someone and sit down for a meal," Ashley said. Their goal is to continue providing a place for the community to gather. All the staff currently employed has worked there before.

The Baker's Table is currently open from Wednesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Future plans include a dinner option on Fridays and Saturdays, but the Dixons are taking things one thing at a time. Ashley stated "we appreciate the continued support of the community, as well as feedback so we can keep getting better. This is for the community."
