CLARKSTON–The Jr. Hi Wrestling team traveled to Clarkston to take on the following teams: Grangeville, Clearwater Valley, and Clarkston on Wednesday.

The boys had a great first round as the team suffered only one defeat. As the night progressed, so did the wrestling.

Chance Savage started off with an 11-0 victory, Lincoln Lovgren lost by fall (Lincoln will beat this kid the next time they wrestle), Jackson Hutchens won by fall in the first round, Jess Winona held on for a very tough match and prevailed 8-0, Kole Zimmerman ran into a buzz saw and pinned his opponent in the first round.

In the Second Round, Savage lost by fall in the first round, Lovgren lost by fall in the first round, Hutchens lost by fall in the second round, Winona lost by fall in the second round, Zimmerman won by fall in the first round.

In the third Round, Savage won by fall in the second round, and Winona lost by fall in the first round. Zimmerman remains undefeated on the season.

We will be working hard on cardio, tilts, 'riding for points', getting off our back, peeling the hand, sprawling, etc. Great group to work and we are seeing improvement every week.

Savage won by decision Porterfield 11-0, Lovgren lost by fall to Davis, Hutchens won by fall over Simpson, Winona won by Dec over Hyde, Zimmerman won by fall over Kiele, Second Round Savage lost by fall to Kaltenbaugh, Hutchens lost by fall to Akiona, Winona lost by fall to Elliot, Lovgren lost by fall to Simpson, Zimmerman won fall over Trubee, Third Round Savage won by fall over Ando and Winona lost by fall to Early.
