Pirate wrestlers advance to regionals at Reardan

Pirate wrestler Nick Hastings worked through the consolation bracket, finishing fourth in the 195-lb. division for a berth to Regionals and a chance to reach the state tournament.
POMEROY–The Pomeroy Wrestling Team all finished in the money here Saturday, making the cut to the Regional Tournament this Saturday in Reardan in the Southeast 1B/2B League Championship.
"All three wrestlers will be going to regionals to battle it out for one of the three spots to state," said Head Coach Mat Slaybaugh. The top four out of this tournament advanced.
