Baby Johnson and Heather Hastings of the Pomeroy Girl Scouts used a flag that previously flew at the Pomeroy Elementary School in their presentation of flag folding, watched by Connie and Jim Harris, Father Steve Werner, and Amy Van Vogt.
POMEROY-The National Day of Prayer was held at the Pioneer Plaza on May 4. Prayers included family, education, government, military, business and workplace, arts and media, and church, as well as the 2023 National Prayer for America. Pomeroy Girl Scout members Heather Hastings and Baby Johnson presented a flag-folding demonstration. The event was organized by National Day of Prayer Committee members Sue Nelson, Pam Miller, Linda Hindman, Polly Scott, Amy Van Vogt, and Cindy Klaveano.
