4-H judgers "fair" well at State contest

Two teams from Garfield County and one Columbia County 4-H member competed at the State Livestock Judging contest in Moses Lake recently. Participants were Jack Baser, Judson Hall, Tyler Dixon, Kendyl Tetrick, Sidney Wolf, and Treyton Kimble. Front row is Robbie Wolf and Ladd Baser.

MOSES LAKE, Wash.–Garfield sent two 4-H judging teams and one individual to completed at the state 4-H Livestock Judging event there on June 24, scoring well.

The two teams were made up of Garfield County and one Columbia County 4-H members. They are from back left to right Jack Baser, Judson Hall, Tyler Dixon, Kendyl Tetrick, Sidney Wolf, and Treyton Kimble. Front row is Robbie Wolf and Ladd Baser

One of the Intermediate team members competing were Jack Baser, Treyton Kimble, Tyler Dixon, and Judson Hall (Columbia County). This team place Second Place Intermediate Team Overall; First Place Intermediate Swine Team, Second and Fourth Place for Intermediate Reasons and Questions Teams; Third Place Intermediate Goat Team; Fourth Place Intermediate Beef Team; Fourth Place Intermediate Sheep Team.

The second intermediate team which included Ladd Baser, Sidney Wolf, and Robbie World placed Fourth in Reasons and Questions.

Individual placements are: Jack Baser, Sixth High Intermediate Individual, and First in Reasons/Questions and Swine; Treyton Kimble was Seventh High Intermediate Individual and was Fourth in Swine

Tyler Dixon was Tenth High Intermediate Individual and Fifth in Reasons and Questions.

Kendyl Tetrick was the only junior 4-H competitor. She placed fifteenth overall in the junior division.
