Jo Todd

Jo Todd passed peacefully in her sleep on July 3, 2023. She was either 93 or 95 years old (a point of much humorous debate). Her longtime caregiver and close friend, Tammy Vecchio, was with her.

Jo and Walt Todd, her husband of 57 years, who predeceased her in 2012, moved to Pomeroy from Louisiana in 1959. They purchased a 440-acre farm in 1964, loved it, and worked it for decades until Jo went to work as the Pomeroy City Treasurer. One of her proudest accomplishments was being instrumental in the Polio Clinic in Pomeroy. She also loved her pets and feeding the local wildlife.

Jo is survived by her three children: Dutch, Sugar, and Brad Todd. Her grandchildren are Spencer and Haley Todd, James and Shay Campbell, and Nicole and Jason Todd.

Jo was a very private person and requested that no funeral service be held.
