The Pomeroy Middle School Cross Country team competed in its first meet September 6.
The Jamboree meet last Wednesday at Spokane Valley Christian School.
Over the one-mile course, eighth grader Melody Zimmerman finished eighth of 21 competitors, 7:46.32. Seventh grader Abram Klippenstein was 38th of 39 in 9:19.32. Sixth grader Dylan Taylor was 35th of 39, 9:01.17.
