POMEROY–The Garfield County Fair was packed with exhibits, events, activities and visiting which so many enjoyed. The weather was toasty warm, requiring cooling fans in the livestock barns; and plenty of cooling treats, burgers, taco salads; clothing vendors, balloon art; music, more food vendors; ice cream, sno-cones; more visiting; cake and ice cream; church, singing, bouncy house, vintage displays, and museum tours, topped off with a rootin', tootin' rodeo to close out the events of the weekend.
Saturday's livestock sale brought in good prices, and top-of -the-chart project pig price for FFA scholarships at the end of the sale. Project exhibitors and bidders were pleased with the outcome of this year's sale.
