Pirate Jr. Hi hoopsters beat Colton

COLTON–The Pirate Junior High Girls Basketball team beat Colton 36-29 on the strength of Camryn Claassen's 14 point with Hollie Van Vogt adding eight.

"This was a good start to the season," said Coach HayLee Dudley. "Despite some setbacks, I was impressed that the girls remained focused on the game. Tonight showed us what we have to build on."

The B Team, coached by Emma Severs, lost 12-11.
