The Historic Dayton Depot Society is hosting its Historic Home Tours from 1-4 p.m.

DAYTON–It's Oktoberfest at Blue Mountain Station and a great time to visit town and tour some of Our Fair City's most stately and historic homes this weekend.

The Blue Mountain Station's Fall Family Festival kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at the 700 Artisan Way location. Gather there for Oktoberfest food and drink, live music and family-oriented activities.

This year's event features Oktoberfest fare at the Co-op as well as food and drink from Smash Tacos, R&B BBQ, Cedar Rain Spirits, Red Band Cellars and Mast Year Cider Collective.

There will also be live music and activities, such as the cake walk, pumpkin and gourd painting, limbo, face painting and a photo booth. Be sure to browse the wares of area artists and crafters during your visit, and keep your ears peeled to live music with The Diego Romero Band.

Admission to the family-friendly event is free.

In town, the Historic Dayton Depot Society is hosting its Historic Home Tours from 1-4 p.m. Tickets available at the Depot $20 for members and $25 for non-members.

Tours are arranged at three private homes, the Boldman House and the Columbia County Courthouse including the jail.
