POMEROY–An alert "Bull on the loose in my yard" was the caption post on Tillie Regler's Facebook page last Sunday.

A bit of fun was had by Facebook members, when a post of this good-looking Ferdinan the Friendly Bull type Angus gent sauntered through the Regler yard, trimming the lush green grass and perhaps even smelling the flowers, during his unplanned visit recently.

People who viewed the alert left posts of "Only in a small town" by JD Baser; "seems perfectly normal," by Jill Hoovel; "So the grass IS greener on the other side!!!!!," by Siera Frisvold; and Gerald Miller recalling a moose visiting local Pomeroy yards some seven years ago; in addition to other funny comments.

It's good to know this community takes these types of occurrences kindly and with a chuckle.
