Hello my name is James R. Fuchs. I am running for reelection for the position of Pomeroy City Councilman No. 2.
I am a Pomeroy native, born and raised here and have raised my family here. I am very active in the community. I am a janitor for the Pomeroy School District, van driver for the Garfield County Transportation, and a volunteer for the Garfield County Food Bank.
Over the years that I have been on the city council, I have seen a lot of positive improvements. Bridge improvements, street paving, water upgrades and others. Currently, the city council is working on a booster pump station to supply more water pressure to the east end of town so there can be more houses built to attract people to move to Pomeroy. Getting the downtown district revitalized would be great and there have been and continues to be work done on this.
I would appreciate your vote on November 7 so I can continue being your city councilman.
