Walla Walla woman injured in accident

An 82-year-old Walla Walla woman was airlifted to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident on SR 12 between Dayton and Pomeroy on October 11. Unnur Halldorsdottir Murdoch's 2013 Ford SUV was passing a semi tractor trailer with an oncoming vehicle, and she clipped a 2013 Kenworth driven by Adrian Sanchez of Stanfield, Ore., according to the Washington State Patrol. She was wearing a safety belt and will receive a citation for improper passing.
