2023 General Election ballots due Tuesday, Nov. 7

POMEROY–Garfield County and City of Pomeroy voters have until 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 7 to mail or deliver their ballots to the Garfield County Auditor or place them in an designated ballot box. (See sidebar.) The Auditor's Election Day hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In this general election, the mayor's race has two contenders, incumbent G. Paul Miller and Jack Peasley; City Council member No. 1 is Rachel Anderson; City Council member No. 2 has two candidates seeking the position, Roni Field and James R. Fuchs; City Council Commissioner At Large No. 3 also has two contenders, Kurt L. Tetrick and Leann Clayton; and City Council member No 5 is John Hirsch. Gary Bowles is seeking Garfield County Fire District 1 Commissioner at Large No. 3 position. Hospital Commissioner No. 3 position is Steven Cannon and Jennifer Dixon. Pomeroy School District No. 110 has one person seeking positions for Director No. 1. Bart K. Gingerich; Director No. 3, Ashley Koller; and Director No. 5, Allison McKeirnan.

For the Clarkston School District No. 250 Director No. 1 position is Rick Hanks and Dan Randles; No. 5 has two candidates seeking the position, Chris Bunce and Todd Snarr; the No. 2 position is Miles Sidener; and No 3 position is Dennis R. Lenz.
