POMEROY––Incumbent Pomeroy Mayor G. Paul Miller was outpolled by challenger Jack Peasley, who received 402 votes and 78.67% of the vote compared to Miller's 109 votes, or 21.33%, tipping the decision to Peasley, according to unofficial results from the 2023 General Election on November 7. The post of mayor is for a four-year term.
