Holiday cheer will come rolling into town as the 2023 Hometown Christmas welcomes the holidays with a variety of activities, including the annual Starlight Christmas Parade.

POMEROY–Holiday cheer will come rolling into town as the 2023 Hometown Christmas welcomes the holidays with a variety of activities, including the annual Starlight Christmas Parade, "Pictures with Santa," a Fun Run and other holiday pursuits here Friday, November 24.

at 9 a.m. Staging begins at the High School Parking lot at 4 p.m.

The festivities start of bright and early Friday morning with the SoleKids Reindeer 5K Dash at 9 a.m. at Lybecker Field.

Downtown Pomeroy will be humming with activity as families and shoppers browse downtown businesses for gifts and treats. Other Hometown Christmas activities are planned at 3 p.m.

Remember to gather along Main Street for the annual Starlight Parade beginning at 5 p.m., the annual extravaganza with floats from local businesses, organizations, and groups, plus an appearance from that right jolly old elf himself, Santa Claus. He will be available for pictures at Pocket Park following the parade.

The parade route will begin on Main and 10th proceeding west on Main, turning north to go through the Hospital parking area. Staging begins at the High School parking lot at 4 p.m. Entry forms are available on the Pomeroy Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
