MAYVIEW–A petition was presented by our mail carrier asking that our mail be carried tri-weekly instead of daily. He only asked for the names of postmasters along the route and had at the head of the petition "Pomeroy postmaster", and claimed the petition was handed him by Mr. Darby. We want to say right here that this is an attempted outrage on the people of this community that will not be tolerated.
