Pomeroy Community Twinkles with Christmas lights

Jolly Ol' St. Nicholas and his frozen friend Frosty welcome Pomeroy and Garfield County citizens, as well of out-of-towners who make a quick pit stop at the Christmas Plaza, during this season of light. The brightly lighted spot in downtown Pomeroy lifts spirits and conveys a warm holiday atmosphere. This year's Twinkle Light Christmas Promotion was a bit light on attendance, but those who did venture to the various shops and stores enjoyed their time browsing and choosing "that perfect gift" for the upcoming Christmas holiday.

It's a little difficult to drum up the Christmas Spirit when the sidewalks are bare and December temperatures are more conducive to rain than snow. Nevertheless, this family took some time to window shop the brightly lighted front windows of Meyers Hardware during the Twinkle Light Sale last week, snow, or now snow.
