Pomeroy Grain Growers Annual meeting Jan. 18

POMEROY–The Annual Grain Growers meeting is scheduled at Spinner’s Hall on January 18 at 8 a.m. Those attending will begin with donuts and coffee at 8 a.m., and a welcome from Agronomy Manager Todd Ruchert, followed by 50-minute presentations from BASF Mike McPhee; Marshal McKinley, Syngenta; and Travis Frei, Bayer. After the American Pride catered lunch, Beau Blachly – Winfield United will speak, finishing the meeting.

Topics will include seed treatments for pests, disease management, fungicides for rust, guidelines for effectively using Round-up, grass control, herbicides, and crop nutrients.
