Free senior health workshops

DAYTON–The Columbia County Health System (CCHS) will offer health education workshops at the Senior Center each beginning February 6, ending December 2.
The CCHS have scheduled eleven free monthly community health education workshops during the lunch hour (11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.at the Dayton Senior Center, 403 E Patit, touching on a variety of topics. Lunch is available.
The workshop schedule is as follows: February 2: Heart and Stroke Education; March 5: Introduction to Population Health; April 2: Introduction to Occupational Therapy; May 7: Women's Health (Pelvic Health); June 4: Alzheimer's and Brain Education; July 2: Introduction to Medical Laboratory; August 6: Immunization Education; September 3: Healthy Aging/Cholesterol/Prostate Cancer; October 1: Health Lungs/COPD; November 5: Diabetes Education; December 3: Wound Care Education/Assessment.
