POMEROY–Six members of the Youth Basketball 2023 Ten Thousand (10,000) Shot Club, Josiah Ledgerwood, Owen Wolf, Robbie Wolf, Kanin Koller, Sidney Wolf and Carson Koller, made their quota over several months which began at the start of Summer Break in June through to the beginning of Christmas Break.

These six youths achieved their goal, making well over 10,000 shots from the end of school in June to the start of Christmas Break in December.

"We are proud of these six Youth Basketball members, and all of the 20+ kids who participated this year," said Brock Ledgerwood, "and hope to increase our 10,000 shot club members in 2024."

The 10,000-Shot Club is a program designed to encourage young players to pick up a ball and work on their shot. "Coaches do not have enough practice time during the season to work a lot on shooting," said Ledgerwood. "It takes work in the offseason for kids to develop and become good shooters."
