Pirate Curtis Winona was in the 190-lb. championship match against season-long rival Brock Gustaveson of Davenport, and finished with a silver medal and state berth.
SPANGLE–Pirate wrestler Curtis Winona finished second in the Regional Tournament and earned a berth in the WIAA Mat Classic XXXV this Friday and Saturday in Tacoma.
Winona pinned opponents from Almira-Coulee-Hartline and Kettle Falls before losing by fall to Brock Gustaveson of Davenport to finish with the silver medal and state berth.
First up for the senior 190 pounder will be junior Oakley Bone...
