The attention of the city marshal and the other officers is called to the practice of some of the half-grown loafers who hang about the street corners and hallways of the buildings on Main Street, marking and defacing the walls of the buildings and whittling their casings. The officers should keep a sharp lookout for individuals engaged in such practices and, if caught, the culprit should be given a lesson which he would not soon forget.
