POMEROY–The Pomeroy Partners Coalition and the Garfield County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) will sponsor Take Back Day on the Courthouse lawn, 789 Main St, Friday, April 26 at 11a.m.-2 p.m.

Take Back Day is an event offering a place for area residents to dispose of unused and expired medicines. The Garfield County Health District and Garfield County Hospital District make available free medication lock boxes., Deterra bags, and sharps containers. We, Pomeroy Partners Coalition, Garfield County Sheriff's Office, Garfield County Health District, Garfield County Hospital District, Garfield County Fire District No. 1, Garfield County Aging & Disability, Garfield County Transportation, and Quality Behavioral Health take this opportunity to showcase the resources available in our community. In addition, a sack lunch with the region's best hot dogs is provided for all who wish to stop by.
