POMEROY–Broomstick Pool Tournament was a "George" this year with two winners; Chris Rardin, for the eighth time, and Drew Zorza.

The Spinners hosted its St. Patrick's Day event, Broomstick Pool.

This year, 23 members were present for the well-attended sponsored event. Teams met Friday, March 15 at 6 p.m. for qualifying. The tournament continued to Saturday, March 15 at noon for those teams qualified to play the next level.

The Spinners served beverages, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, nachos and pulled pork sandwiches both days. And, of course, peanuts, with shells on the floor as part of the tradition for this tournament.
