    OLYMPIA – Washington’s wolf population grew for the 15th consecutive year in 2023, according to the Washington Gray Wolf Conservation and Management 2023 Annual Report, released today by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW).     COLFAX–The Pirate track team had two meets this week, competing in a 1B/2B league meet in Clarkston and at the MacDougall Invite. These are big meets with lots of competition with 11 schools competing at the league meet and 21 at the Invite with some larger classifications competing with the 1B/2Bs. Pomeroy’s boys finished third with 81 points behind DeSales’ 97 and Colfax’s 104 at Clarkston, and the women were ninth with 16 points.
