Junior Varsity Pirate Oliver Severs (22) grabs the rebound with 6.4 seconds on the clock and the score tied after Prescott's foul shooter missed the go-ahead shot in the exciting conclusion of the Pirate-Tiger jayvee game. The Pirates brought the ball up court and called a time out to plan the final play. The ensuing inbounds pass was a three-quarter court pass, which, if caught and the shot made or missed, the result would be overtime, at worst. The pass was intercepted by a Prescott player and the Tigers' final shot included a called foul with time expired. Questionable officiating on the lack of a foul on long inbounds pass resulted in a technical foul on the Pirate bench, which Prescott's shooter made, ending the two-quarter scrimmage in a 20-19 Pirate loss.
