Long-time band director Marcus Pedersen was honored during Senior Night ceremonies with a "Senior Night" of his own, presented by Head Coach Tai Bye. Pedersen is planning to retire at the end of the school year and was celebrating his final appearance as director of the Pep Band. Bye presented a gift that included team and Pomeroy shirts, a journal filled with notes from players, coaches, and athletic directors, and other small gifts, as a token of gratitude for his many years of dedicated service. "We simply wanted him to have a 'senior night' with this group as it was his last regular season home game," Bye said.
