Lucy’s Deviled Eggs

Lucy Field: Age 5

7 eggs

4 dumps of salt

4 dumps of pepper

Put the eggs in the freezer until they are frozen and then microwave them for 3 seconds to warm them up. Peel the eggs and then put on the salt and pepper. You don’t mix anything. Grab them from the egg carton and put them on your plate and eat them with your hand. It’s slippery when you get it out of the microwave so put it on a paper plate. There is one egg for each person

Owynn’s Apple Pie

Owynn Maki: Age 6

2 red apples

1 pinch of sugar

1 jar of water

3 drops of cinnamon

Get the apple seeds out of the apples and put them in a jar and then put them in a pan to cook. Cook it on the stove. Don’t use an oven with a mouse nest in it. Put the water in the jar, dump it in the pan and let everything boil. Cook it for one minute. If you do it for too many minutes it will explode, so poke holes in it. Sprinkle the cinnamon on I then start to decorate the pie with sprinkles and sugar. I always eat it with extra sugar on it. Then it’s done!

Max’s Turkey

Max Humphries: Age 6

10 yellow peppers

200 pieces of brown salt

1 40lb turkey

Cut the turkey up into pieces. Fit the peppers around the turkey after you have cut them up. Sprinkle the salt on the turkey and then put it in the oven at 100 degrees for one minute. Cut it with a knife and eat it with a fork. Eat the peppers too.

Noel’s Pumpkin Pie

Noel Steynor: Age 5

1 pumpkin

2 cups pumpkin spices

5 cups of flour

½ c cup sugar

Get a pumpkin from your garden. Cut it into pieces with a knife. Put it in a bowl and stir it for 5 minutes. Then put sprinkles in it. Put the bowl in the oven and bake for 30 minutes at 100 degrees. And then it is ready to eat. Eat it with a fork and spoon.

Klaire’s Dead Turkey Meat

Klaire Reisdorph: Age 5

17 lb. turkey

1 gallon of gravy

Buy a turkey at Costco. You know that knife that is really sharp and big? Use that one. Cut it up and take the bones out. Put the little black things (cloves) in the turkey. My grandma tells me to do that. Put the turkey in the oven for 10 degrees for 10 hours. Take it out and put in on a plate and cut it up and it is ready to eat!

Joshua’s Barbecued Bear

Joshua Rager: Age 5

100 lb. Black Bear

Buckets of BBQ sauce

Buckets of smokies

1 chocolate cake

Cut straight into the middle of the bear with a knife, have an adult take the fur off and then wrap the bear in foil. Use a big table like the one my Papa has in his garage. Unwrap the bear, put the BBQ sauce on him with a piece of bread and then add the smokies. Get extra smokies so we can eat the smokies too. Put the chocolate cake on a piece of the bear. Put him on the grate and make sure the coals are on fire. Cook him for an hour. The temperature on the bbq should be SO hot! Take him off the bbq and eat him. You can have this at a party.

Hazel’s Roasted Pig

Hazel Phelps: Age 5

1 killed pig

2 cups of water

2 pieces of white cheese

2 shakes of pepper

2 cups vanilla oil

First you roast the pig in the BBQ-er and then you roast it with the barbecue sauce on top of it. Put your two cups of water and your cheese, pepper and salt on the pig. Shut the lid and then wait til it is done cooking. It needs to cook at 50 degrees for an hour. Turn the knobs up on high. Take it off the BBQ, pour the vanilla oil on it, one cup at a time, cut it up and eat it. This is very delicious!

Harper D’s Cracked Crab

Harper Dixon: Age 5

2 crabs

2 drops of gravy

4 strawberries

15 turkeys

Make the gravy first and then put the strawberries by the crab. Cook the crab in the oven for 15 minutes at warm degrees. Slice the turkey up and then put the gravy and strawberry toppings on top. I will put on the toppings. On the crab will be the gravy. I’ll have all of these little seafood things ready to eat.

Delilah’s Chocolate Cake with Pink and Gold Frosting

Delilah Waldher: Age 5

10 chocolate chips

1 tsp orange sugar

½ cup milk

A medium ½ cup of flour

3 eggs

Mix the chocolate chips and sugar together with a spatula. Milk a cow and then take the milk, flour and eggs and mix them all together. Put it in the oven for 10 minutes at a medium to hot temperature. When it is done cool it off and then put the pink and gold frosting on it and eat it. The pink frosting is marshmallow pink. Only share this with your mom and dad, not your sister.

Aubree’s Pumpkin Pie

Aubree Barnes: Age 6

1 50lb pumpkin

4 spoons of sugar

2 spoons of cinnamon

3 cups of milk

Cut the pumpkin. Spoon out the seeds or use your hands. Wash your hands when you are done. You can save the seeds to eat them, but I do not like them because they look disgusting. Slice up the pumpkin meat and then put it in a bowl, add milk and stir. Put it in the oven for 52 minutes at 33 degrees. Put your mittens on to take it out and wait until it cools down. When it is done cooling you eat it on a plate with a fork and a knife. Don’t forget to put the sugar and cinnamon in it!

Dominick’s Sweet Potato and Marshmallows

Dominick DeBord: Age 6

20 sweet potatoes

40 marshmallows

5 scoops of pepper

A scoop of salt

Put oil on the pan. Take the sweet potatoes out of the fridge and put them on the pan. But first, peel the potatoes and then cut them like little carrots. After that, get the bag of marshmallows. Grab 50 of them and put them on the sweet potatoes. Sprinkle some of the salt and stir it into the pan. Then put a little pepper in it and stir it again. Put the potatoes in the oven at 40 degrees for 69 minutes. Dump the juice out the pan after they’re done cooking. Wash the pan with a scrubber. Let it soak for a little bit and then put it in the dish dryer.

Harper F.’s Macaroni and Cheese

Harper Fruh: Age 5

10 noodles

A little bit of milk

1 package of yellow cheese

Pour some water in a cup and then spill in the macaroni. Boil the water so it’s cold then mix it all up and stir it, stir it, stir it! Put it in the microwave for 15 minutes. Wait for a couple hours. You want it to cool off. Serve it in the bowl and enjoy it. My dad, my mom, my brother and I can eat it. Smokey the cat cannot eat this; he will eat his own food.

Gage’s Apple Crisp

Gage Severson: Age 5

10 red apples, peeled

3 cups cinnamon

4 cups apple juice

6 cups sugar

Cut the apples into 4 pieces and put them in a pan. Put the cinnamon and sugar on the apples fast so they won’t spill everywhere. Pour the juice into the pan, on top of the apples. Put the apple crisp in the oven for 30 minutes at 50 degrees. When it is done let it cool down on the counter. Put ice cream on it and eat it.
