Community salutes a fallen firefighter

Firefighters in the region–including units from Garfield County Fire District No. 1–escorted a brother firefighter, Ashton K. Farley, from his service district in Walla Walla County to his hometown of Troy, Id., Friday, December 6. The procession escorted Farley through Garfield County, who died in a motor-vehicle accident on November 21, to Troy prior to services planned in Moscow, Id., the following day.
POMEROY–Firefighters and law enforcement personnel escorted the body of Ashton K. Farley, a Walla Walla volunteer firefighter, through Garfield County as he was transported from Prescott, Wash., to Moscow, Idaho Friday morning, December 6, 2019.
