Bunch garnered "B" Class trophy

POMEROY–Local gun club enjoys beautiful fall weather and Bunch wins “B” Class trophy in Doubles at the Fall Shoot at Colton Gun Club on September 20.
Five Pomeroy Gun Club members attended the Fall Shoot at Colton Gun Club Sunday. In the Singles event, Terry John and Larry Bunch both posted 93X100 scores. Holly Ledgerwood had an 89 and Steve Ledgerwood posted an 83.
In Handicap, Bunch had a 91 and Holly Ledgerwood posted a 90. Fred Zack had an 86. Bunch had the top Doubles score of the day with a 93 and garnered the “B” Class trophy.
On Saturday, September 19, the local Club shot a Big 50 event and Terry John led the singles shooters with a perfect 50, Bunch had a 47, Robert Des Jardin posted a 45, Fred Zack and Pearl Blachly had 44s, and Beau and Mason Blachly each posted 43s.
Bunch had the top Handicap score of 43. Mason Blachly and Fred Zack had 41s. Bunch broke a 42 in Doubles.
The Club continues to offer practice on Wednesday nights at 5 p.m., and Sundays at 1 p.m.
