Pomeroy Gun Club's Orofino and Nez Perce results

POMEROY–The Pomeroy Gun Club members enjoyed some shooting and good results at a couple of Idaho Clubs over the past two weekends.

Holly Ledgerwood posted a 97 in the singles event at the Orofino Gun Club which won her the Lady title at the Saturday, June 13 event. One week later on June 20 her pair of 94s in the 200 singles at Nez Perce Gun Club also was good enough for High Lady honors.

The Sunday Nez Perce's Father's Day shoot gave Terry John the chance to post a 99 in singles that was high in the Veteran Class and tied for "B" class honors. Larry Bunch posted a 97 and won a coin flip with Jim Adams of Clarkston for "A" class Runner-up. Robert Koller nearly shot his age with a 90 for the day. In Handicap John broke an 85 and Koller posted a respectful 82 on a day where results were surprisingly low for many shooters. Bunch posted an 86 in the Doubles event.

The Washington State Shoot starts in Walla Walla this week on Thursday June 24 and culminates on Sunday June 27. Extreme Heat is projected which could be problematic for some shooters.
