Pirates shut out at Tekoa-Rosalia

This was a familiar sight for Pomeroy fans–the officials' arms up, signaling a Pirate touchdown. In the end zone for six points is junior running back Sidney Bales, who gathered in a 44-yard Trent Gwinn pass early in the second quarter. Pirates Trevin Kimble (43) and Braedyn White (25) are also pictured.

TEKOA–The Pirates blew to the running clock by 7:24 in the second quarter, dominating the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves with not only a shut out, but also holding their hosts to 43 yards of total offense in this season's first league contest.

The Touchet Indians come to town this Friday for a 7 p.m. kick off against the 4-0 Pirates.
