Caruso at top of field after 18-hole match

CLARKSTON–Pirate golfer Chase Caruso dominated the women's side of an 18-hole match played here Tuesday, at Quail Ridge Golf Course.

The Pirate Golf team competes next at Walla Walla's Veterans Memorial Golf Course on April 12.

"To see the kids play their best is always a bonus," commented Head Coach Al Damron, "especially in tough weather conditions."

Caruso shot an 82 to lead the pack. Pirate sophomore Kiersten Bartels completed the round with a personal best of 94 and was second behind Caruso.

On the men's side, Brady Bott carded a personal best 79 which tied for second place. Sophomore Reggie Ott Jr. and freshman Grayson Slaybaugh tied at 100.
