Big third quarter for Pirates too little, too late at Oakesdale

Pomeroy's Byron Stallcop puts a body on Oakesdale's Simon Anderson as Trevin Kimble trails the play into the Nighthawk key. Pomeroy busted out with 24 points in the third quarter, not enough in the 66-38 league loss Friday.

OAKESDALE–The Pirates had no answer for Nighthawk Simon Anderson and his game-high 17 points, combining with three other Oakesdale teammates in double digits to run over Pomeroy 66-38 Friday, December 20.

Pomeroy faces Lakeland at the "Eagle Classic" tourney at West Valley H.S. in Spokane Valley this Friday. They start the new year against Genesee at home on January 3.
