REARDAN–Pirate wrestling continued to show well in this six-match season, competing at the League Mix-N-Match here May 27 and counting five wins and two losses.

Pomeroy's next match was June 1 at Davenport, followed a week later by a match at Ritzville.

"Braedyn White had a good night against some stiff competition," said Head Coach Ben Slaybaugh. "He is just dominant on top and guys can't escape his arm bar."

"Overall, they all looked good and I saw some good improvement from last week," Slaybaugh said of White and teammates Walker Flynn and Curtis Winona.

Both White, in the 182-lb. class, and Flynn, wrestling in the 160 division, won both of their matches. Curtis Winona, at 170 lbs., lost the first two but rallied with a pin win in the third.

Flynn (160) pinned A. Chilson of Reardan at 2:18 for his first win, then repeated with fall win over L. Hamilton, also of Reardan.

Winona (170) was overcome by A. Chilson of Reardan at 3:21, and Liberty-Spangle's J. Cwik, at :26. Winona needed some time in the final match, pinning G. Halfner of Liberty at :53.

White (182) beat Roberts of Liberty and N. Sieverts, also a Lancer wrestler. He pinned Roberts at 2:50 and Sieverts at 1:20.
