POMEROY–The Garfield County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) canceled outstanding warrants at their meeting on October 25. The warrants are three payments that were issued but were not claimed.
BOCC clerk Donna Deal explained that such unclaimed warrants happen from time to time, perhaps a doubled payment or such. If the warrants are not canceled by the end of the year, the IRS will claim them....
