    POMEROY–The annual Starlight Christmas Parade is scheduled to go down Main Street on Saturday, November 26 at 5 p.m. This annual Pomeroy Chamber of Commerce event will have floats from local businesses, organizations and groups.     POMEROY–The Garfield County board of commissioners (BOCC) discussed budget figures for a copier and software and discussed negotiations with the Employee's Group at their meeting on November 17. The cost of a black and white copier for the treasurer's office was discussed and added to the 2023 budget. The copier is budgeted for under $10,000, and the old one will become surplus sometime in the future. The software discussed will cost $72,000.     POMEROY–The Pomeroy City Council held a budget hearing, passed two resolutions, and discussed the considered loan from Washington State Department of Health (DOH) at their meeting on November 21. The budget hearing elicited no public comment. The final approval of the 2023 budget is scheduled for December 6, the next regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council.
